Worried about getting a pair of wireless earphones for the fear that you may lose them? Tired of always having to bring the charging case out, and having to rummage your bag for it when you want to keep your earphones?
Smart device developer Aipower has just the solution for you. Introducing Wearbuds, the world’s first wristband-housed true wireless earbuds that double as a fitness tracker.
With Wearbuds, after listening to music you won’t need to search through your bag for a charging case. Simply slot the earbuds into the sides of the fitness band you already have on it’s good to go. The fitness band with seven days of battery life will charge your earphones for you.
The fitness band can automatically count your steps and calories burned and monitor heart rate and sleep pattern. A built-in touchscreen on the fitness band allows for instant access to all fitness data and notifications (including sedentary reminder) on the wrist.
All fitness reports will be saved in the dedicated Aipower app. The band features on-wrist smartphone notifications which are customizable for calls, texts, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Instagram.
Aside from the abovementioned features, the Wearbuds also comes with noise isolation and free-calling with either earbud using Bluetooth 5.0 technology.
It seems that the idea of wearable earbuds was such a hit- the project hit its goal of US$50,000 within five minutes of its launch on Kickstarter earlier today, and at the time of writing, is at US$312,246.
The US$49 and US$69 reward is no longer available, so if you would like to pre-order a pair of Wearbuds, you will have to pledge at least US$99 which will also get you either the Shiny Black, Shiny White or Glossy White colorway.
The kickstarter project has already reached its goal, so Aipower will definitely be moving forward with this project. You can expect your Wearbuds to arrive by either September or October 2019, depending on which reward you purchased.
Prices: Upwards of US$99. For the full catalogue of rewards, refer to the link at the bottom of the page.
