Combining music, Singapore’s history and heritage into a single narrative is no easy task. As daunting as it is, Singaporean band “The MadHatter Project” has taken up the challenge and the quartet will be showcasing their first full-length showcase, ‘For The Time Being’, this 12 and 13 May 2017.
The showcase is multi-disciplinary and will feature original music, visual arts, poetry, light and sound designs, and several modest theatricalities. Also joining the show are works from artists Ho Zhen Ming and Ang Siew Ching, together with poet Stephanie Dogfoot.
The 2015 Noise Singapore Award Winners will bring you on a musical journey to explore Singapore’s modernisation and its impact on the people. Unique, fresh and bold, ‘For The Time Being’ promises to be wholly entertaining and riveting.
