Looking for a place to stay on your next trip to Bangkok? If you want to pamper yourself, or to just splurge on a getaway, Park Hyatt Bangkok is for you.
Located right on top of Central Embassy, Park Hyatt is your destination for food, fun and fashion, offering an oasis of calm amongst the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Set to open on 12 May 2017, I had a behind-the-scenes, sneak peak of what the hotel has to offer!
The hotel consists of warm, tranquil spaces which combine traditional Thai craftsmanship and modern art. You definitely won’t miss the amazing sculptures and decor all around you.
One of my favourites was the modern sculpture of the Naga, a mythical water serpent which is said to live in the Mekong River. Try and spot it when you’re there if you can!
The most important aspect of any hotel, the rooms, were spectacular and gave off a zen vibe that I really liked. The hotel and shopping mall together form a figure eight structure, so each room is most likely of a different layout which gives you a different view every time you stay in the hotel.
You can request for a particular room (subject to availability)… but where’s the fun in that?
The deluxe room features a cosy living corner, and a spacious bathroom. The colour scheme and decor are selected such that guests can feel at ease in this tranquil and refined space.
Starting at 527 square feet, the entry-level rooms rank among the largest in the city. The hotel comprises of 222 luxurious guest rooms including 32 premier suites which have floor-to-ceiling windows, providing an unparalleled view of the city.
To relax even more amidst the rat-race that is Bangkok, visit The Spa on level 10 and 11, which showcases eight treatment rooms utilising premium products from Panpuri. Expect treatments and facilities such as crystal-steam rooms, a relaxation lounge, and whirlpools to truly help you to unwind.
I had the opportunity to try some food cooked by the various dining establishments in the hotel, and I have to say that the dishes tasted as good as they look.
During your stay, take some time to chill at the hotel’s infinity pool, which overlooks the bustling city. I would have loved to jump in to seek some solace from Bangkok’s blazing heat.
To complete your stay, drop by the Sky Bar and enjoy a panoramic view of the city, coupled with intriguing drinks inspired by the history and culture of the area.
Park Hyatt also features amenities like a 24-hour fitness centre, restaurants, and more, but the hotel wishes to keep some surprises in store for guests. I guess the only way to find out is to book a stay for your next Bangkok escapade!
Be one of the first to experience the grandeur that Park Hyatt Bangkok has to offer. Looking for a good deal? Book a stay from 12 May onwards and receive a 20% launch discount as well as 3,000 bonus points in the World of Hyatt loyalty programme.
I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of Bangkok and I can’t wait to head back!
