Almost every Singaporean would have bought something off the shopping platform Shopee, or at the very least heard of it. But did you know, that the app has made some upgrades?
Introducing Shopee Live, a livestreaming feature on the app which allows sellers and brands to engage potential buyers. Sellers can showcase both their products and personality to captivate audiences. Interested buyers may also ask questions in the chatbox which sellers can see in real-time.
Many shops and brands have already started to make use of the feature, notable ones being FILA, JBL and Chope!.
You do not have to leave the livestream to purchase the product. All you have to do is tap the shopping bag icon on the bottom left of the screen and you will be able to shop from a list of featured products.
Missed the livestream? Don’t worry, as you will be able to browse through the replay archive, and still be able to purchase the featured products – if it’s still available.
Shopee themselves have also engaged influencers to host a game show at 9pm daily during certain campaigns where viewers can stand a chance to win Shopee coins and products from participating brands.
