Jewel @Changi Airport recently opened and its shocking how many stores the retail complex has. Besides restaurants, cafés and the newly opened canopy park, Jewel also houses YotelAir Changi – a hotel inspired by first-class aircraft cabins.
YotelAir Changi is a short-stay hotel that is perfect for international travellers and transit passengers. Unlike other hotels, YotelAir allows guests to book a room for a minimum of only 4 hours- perfect if you are waiting for a transit flight, or if your flight is delayed.
YotelAir Changi has a total of 130 rooms that range from Premium Queen Cabins to Family Cabins. There isn’t a fixed check-in and check-out time, proving just how flexible the hotel is in catering to guests’ needs.
All YotelAir cabins feature adjustable mood lighting, flat screen TVs, rain showers, adjustable SmartBeds and several power points in case guests have several gadgets to charge. These unique rooms resemble luxury aircraft cabins with ensuite bathrooms.
In addition, guests have access to a 24/7 gym, and complimentary WiFi.
If you get bored of just resting in your room, you can also check out KOMYUNITI, a double storey public space that overlooks Jewel’s Rain Vortex. KOMYUNITI is where “life happens and guests connect, and it is also home to some of the best food in town,” as claimed by Yotelair.
This co-working social hub is an open space where you can dine at, have a drink, or finish up some work.
I think guests will really appreciate how flexible YotelAir Changi is. Passengers no longer need to sleep on Changi Airport chairs or floors when waiting for their next flight!
